EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT:

Job Placement Assistance

If you’re being sent to Vocational Consulting for Job Placement Assistance, it means you need to find a job, and you might also need a refresher on how to find a job, or what finding a job even looks like these days. We’re here to help you get back to work.

That means finding a job that: follows the limits your doctor has set for you, uses the skills you already have, and is in your area. Our number one goal is helping you return to work, whether it’s your old job, a modified version of it, or a new role that matches your abilities. We’re here to support and guide you every step of the way.

What We Look At:

Finding the Right Job:

We search for job opportunities with local employers that match what you can do. We then pass this information along to you. Throughout this process, we’ll with you regularly to talk about your job search, answer your questions, give you feedback, and help you with your job applications.

Our Three-Part Plan for Success:

  1. Building Your Resume: We help you put together a strong resume that shows off your skills and experience.

  2. Practicing Interviews: We run through practice interviews with you so you know what to expect. We offer real-time feedback to help you improve.

  3. Following Up on Job Leads: You will be required to look for job opportunities on your own and keep track of your contacts. This way, you build the skills to find work on your own in the future.

Continued Support:

Once you land a job, we’re still here. We’ll continue checking in with you and your employer to make sure you’re working safely. Our goal is to help you succeed both now and in the future.
